In a country where water is abundant, but swimming skills are scarce, the Balwin Foundation has taken a bold step toward changing lives, one stroke at a time. Swimming should not be a privilege; but a life skill that everyone deserves. It’s about safety, confidence, and a life-saving skill that can prevent drowning and open doors to new opportunities.

Our Programmes include:

Jeppe Learn2Swim program - hosted at Jeppe Boys School which brings together Jeppe Boys and children from Kidshaven
Alex Learn2Swim, hosted at Edenvale School

Our programmes are open to Balwin staff and members from surrounding developments.

Our vision is to expand Learn2Swim to KwaZulu-Natal and Tshwane in 2026, ensuring that more communities gain access to this essential life skill.
